Construction Process

At By Carrier, we take pride in our commitment to keep our customers involved throughout the entire process. We stress the importance of regularly scheduled meetings before, during and after construction to keep our customers informed. Our construction managers will touch base with you frequently to provide updates and answer any questions you may have. And whether you’re at home, at work, on the road or on vacation, we provide clients with access to a secure website with all the details of their project. Information about selections, upgrades, financial decisions, questions and documents will be available at your fingertips.

1. Initial Meeting
   At our first meeting together, we will discuss your time frame and budget. We’ll want to know if you have your own lot/plans, or if you are looking for help with them. We’ll also work together to identify the features that are important to you in your new home.
2. Lot Evaluation
   If you have your own lot already, we will meet there to assess site conditions and placement for your home and utilities.
3. Plans and Specs
   If you don’t have your own plans, we will design some for you to match your wants and needs. You will have the option to tour one of our many model homes to get a feel for what you are looking for. Once plans are chosen, we will present a preliminary budget for your review.
4. Selections
   Using the model homes and our vendors/suppliers, we will help you find what best suits your taste to help transform your house into your home.
5. Finalize Documents and Contract
   Once you have approved plans and specs, we will prepare a construction contract for your review and acceptance.
